Swanline Group Interior Design

The process of design always requires a good brief and a positive relationship with the builder and any other consultant.  These types of relationships are nurtured over a long career and often result in outcomes that even surprise our clients.  The element of surprise is fundamental to the success of design in general and it is very hard to foresee until the project is completed.   This was the case for the interior design of the Swanline Group new office in Subiaco.  The client were very concerned about what effect the design proposal would ultimately have on their established image amongst their peers.  The concept of the open plan office and its pros and cons were largely discussed during the design phase and it appeared that the main concern was not to do with the plan itself but with whether the standard of the long-established standing in the business world of Perth would be preserved.  It seemed that leaving the cocoon of West Perth to a shop-front in Subiaco felt very challenging and depended very much on the design outcome.

We had collaborated with Maxinterni on a previous project (an attic in the Italian Dolomites) and were confident the quality of the fitout would meet the challenge mentioned.  In addition, our design of the layout and its focus on flexibility, elegance and high quality furniture, fixings and fixtures including services would deliver a good result.  This is thanks to our confidence in the professionality of both the builder, Neesh Construction and the fitout company Maxinterni.  We thank both organisation for delivering such a high standard product and look forward to working together in the near future.
