I have just returned from the Venice Biennale and the Australian Pavilion looks fantastic but it does not say much about where Australia is heading and what the thinking is in the world of urban design; it is a good show of Avatar technology of architectural imaging and imagining. It is great fun though and my favourite pavilion was the Danish one.

Why did you like the Danish pavillion best? Was it because they are pretty progressive when it comes to considering the climate in design?
i loved the way they did their 3d presentation of the vision for the future of Copenhagen. The pace in which they delivered their vision was fast, engaging and realisable. Surprisingly, nothing to do with climate but lots to do with public transport, increase of population and growing food in the city. Beat that for thinking ahead!
As a cyclist, both Copenhagen and Boulder (Colorado, USA) seem to be the only progressive cities in the world when it comes to actually doing something positive and taking real action against climate change.
